Many have termed this teacher recruitment as Civic Teacher but according to higher education, this teacher recruitment will be temporary or contractual.

The State Parliament for Higher Education (WB Higher Education Department) has sanctioned an additional 125 students in each school in the state for admission in Class XI in the state. Earlier it was 275 people but now it has increased to 400 people. And for these extra students, there is a need for additional teachers. As a result, thousands of temporary teachers (WB Contractual Recruitment) are expected to be recruited in the state.

As every year, the pressure of admission in the eleventh is increasing in the reputed schools. And this year about 9.5 lakh candidates have passed the medium. More than 300 applications were received within 24 hours, said headmaster Parthapratim Vaidya. However, the Higher Secondary Education Parliament has asked for an average of 80 percent marks, not the minimum 35 percent marks. The application is overflowing. Based on everything, it is seen that this time there is going to be huge pressure on the traditional education system.

According to parliamentary sources, there is a meeting in this regard on June 10, the day of the high school results. On the same day, the members of parliament will sit to discuss the appointment of teachers. President Chiranjeev Bhattacharya is also expected to be present. Chiranjeev Babu did not deny the meeting. He said, "I don't know how much time I can give to the meeting because I am busy with the results." However, the issue of appointment is going to come up in that meeting.
